“ The hotel is located in a beautiful area of Brasov. I stayed there for 6 nights and overall my experience was nice. The room originally had some issues like the toilet not working but the manager and house keeping staff did their best to help and fix things. Eventually i was upgraded to a bigger room which was a pleasant gesture. ”
“ Quite nice and spooky, but the shower in tje room was broken, minibar empty and no possibility to eat or drink something at the restaurant because closed. Breakfast was an additional 50 ron x person (wich we didn't take) ... maybe other rooms are better but the Hatmans room was so so ... but we had a nice stay anyway . Good service all together from the front of house ”
“ Very good value for money — I’d give 5 stars just for that. This isn’t a regular hotel; the place truly has a soul. Sure, the Dracula theme isn’t the most original idea for Romania, but they went all in: they built an entire castle-like hotel, decorated the walls with real old weapons, and used authentic, old-fashioned touches like red carpets, mirrors, and candlelight. If you’re looking for something special, this is definitely a place to go. The staff also do their best to make your stay feel personal. At night, it’s very quiet — you can even hear the wind and rustling leaves, which adds to the authentic atmosphere. Now for the negatives: The cheapest rooms are tiny, located in the attic on the 3rd floor, and there’s no elevator — not ideal for older guests. There’s also no AC, so staying in the attic can be tough on hot days. Breakfasts are basic and not really worth €10. The hotel clearly needs some renovation — the age is showing. My shower was leaking, and some mattresses could use replacing. That said, the price is so reasonable that I’m willing to overlook these inconveniences. Still, if it were up to me, I’d invest in some renovations and charge a bit more — many guests would gladly pay extra for such a unique concept done at a higher standard. ”
